Alocasia Dragon Scale

Alocasia Dragon Scale is a striking and rare houseplant recognized by its deep green leaves with a pattern that resembles dragon scales. Overview: 

Size:       2 to 3 feet tall and 1 to 2 feet wide.

Light:     Bright indirect light, avoid direct sun light, a south or west facing window is  ideal.

Soil:       Well draining potting soil that retains some moisture. A mix with sphagnum   moss or coco coir is recommended. (View our Plant Essentials)

Water:   Let top 2 or 3 of soil is dry before watering, when you water , water thoroughly allowing excess water to drain out. To pervent root rot empty drainage tray after watering. May require more water in the summer months.

           Humidity:  Thrives in high humidity.

Fertilizer:  Fertilizer ever one or two months during the growing season with a balanced half strengh liquid fertilizer (spring and summer).

Toxicity:    Toxic to pets and humans if ingested.
